132 million girls are out of school & less than 40% of countries provide girls and boys with equal access to education. (UN Women) 1 in 5 girls is married, or in union, before reaching age 18. In developing nations, 40 per cent of girls are married before age 18, and 12 per cent of girls are married before age 15. Child marriages are almost universally banned, yet they happen 33,000 times a day, every day, all around the world—cutting across countries, cultures, religions and ethnicities. ACTIVIST FOUNDER & CEO, SAFE HANDS FOR GIRLS, UN WOMEN AMBASSADOR

Jaha is the youngest ever African to be nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize. She has been described as the lightning rod for change in The Gambia.
After being subjected to the practice of Female Genital Mutilation (FGM), Jaha was adamant to use her voice and raise awareness in The Gambia and globally, and has become the leading voice of a new generation of African women rising up to end FGM and child marriage.
Jaha is the founder of Safe Hands for Girls, a survivor led organisation, whose grassroots programmes create awareness of FGM and other forms of violence against women through education, advocacy and youth-led campaigns. Its work led to FGM being banned in The Gambia in 2015.
She is currently focused on building an African women’s grassroot leaders’ network, The Big Sisters Movement, to end FGM and child marriage by 2030. Jaha leads by example to inspire women and girls to become leaders in creating a better future for their communities and countries.
Her leadership, courage, and informed advocacy has been pivotal in engaging religious leaders in the coalition of stakeholder dedicated to ending FGM in Africa. Jaha was appointed UN Women Ambassador for Africa in February 2018. In this role, Jaha supports UN Women’s advocacy to end FGM and child marriage in Africa, with a focus on mobilising youth.
Her work has been met by international acclaim, most notably being awarded the Eleanor Roosevelt Medal of Honor, as well as being recognised as among the Times 100 most influential people in the world.

Faiza K.A Rammuny is a Musrab Relationship Advisor, Life Coach, Comedian and Writer.

She is the author of her book, From Broken To Fabulous and has an interesting, unique, and comical understanding of relationships, that she gained by documenting not only her search to find love, but the search of countless other women and men. She speaks in her authenticity on the experiences that many Muslim/Arab women encounter within their communities.
Writing about the subject, found many turning to Faiza for her insight and two cents on their relationships, which inspired her to quit her job, and focus solely on offering many just that.

Faiza is trailblazing in her journey to redefine what it means to be a Muslim woman in 2021 through words, comedy and simply being herself!

Jana Amin is an Egyptian-American advocate for girls’ education and women in Islam. She is a speaker for TEDx Youth on changing the narrative around Muslim women. Jana works closely with The Collateral Repair Project, an NGO based in Jordan to support refugee women and girls. Recently, she hosted a virtual event, #17for17: Advocating for Girls' Education. She has also participated in UN talks discussing the Sustainable Development Goals and Policies to Change the World.
She is also the Founder of Bantoota, UnTextbooked and Youth Activism Project.

Her research focuses on the media representation of Muslim women; she curated an exhibit at the American University in Cairo titled “Princess Fawzia and the Duality of Egyptian Women”. She is currently interning at the Harvard Kennedy School.

Her dream is to work for the United Nations as the UN Secretary-General and serve humanity around the world.

She launched her first business, “The Secret Garden” at the age of 7, selling her paintings online. She later went on to become a children's author at the age of 8 where she published her first adventure storybook called “Polly’s Life Adventures”.

She has a recent venture which she launched during lockdown called “Humanity Wonders” where she teaches kindness and humanity to children globally.
​
Nayra gives 30% of her earnings from her entrepreneurial ventures towards donating wheelchairs, educational kits, groceries to less fortunate children in villages near her city in India.

Her mission is to spread more humanity and contribute towards a more joyful and hopeful world!
